The Painter's Path

After 14 solo exhibitions, I can say with certainty that being a painter is anything but predictable. It is a path filled with discoveries, challenges, moments of deep satisfaction, and endless learning. More than anything, it is a journey of self-exploration.

For around 40 years, I have been immersed in this artistic adventure, continuously amazed by the universe and its mysteries. It has always inspired a deep sense of wonder and respect within me.

Throughout the years, I have sought to understand the hidden language of symbols, the messages that lie beneath the surface—what some might call the "NOSTOC." (what lies hidden for the profane eyes)

I am drawn to those elements of the human condition that remain just beyond our ordinary senses, the patterns and synchronicities waiting to be recognized and understood.

There are moments in the creative process when everything aligns—when inspiration flows effortlessly, and it feels as though I am in touch with something greater than myself. It is in these moments that I am reminded of the depth and beauty of being human, of our ability to perceive, create, and connect.

Art is a distinctly human experience, a way of expressing what words often cannot. It is a bridge between the seen and the unseen, between the inner world and the outer one.

Lately, I find myself reflecting on what an observer from "ANOTHER WORLD" might perceive in my work. Would they sense the vastness of the cosmos within it? Would they understand the emotions, perspectives, and experiences I translate onto the canvas?

My greatest hope is to one day express, with clarity and depth, everything that resides in my heart and soul. To develop the sensitivity and skill to truly connect—with others, with the universe, and with the essence of creation itself. I want my work to serve as a reminder of the wonder of existence and the power of awareness.

Painting has been a constant in my life—a demanding but fulfilling pursuit that has taught me resilience, patience, and trust in the creative process. Successes and failures have come and gone, but one truth remains: to be a painter, one must paint. To be a creator, one must believe in creation.

Now, I am stepping into a new frontier, exploring the intersection of art and technology. Artificial intelligence, when combined with human creativity, opens up endless possibilities—expanding artistic expression in ways we are only beginning to understand. It is a fascinating collaboration between logic and intuition, structure and spontaneity.

The future of art is unfolding before us, and I am excited to be part of this evolving landscape.

Here’s to the journey ahead...👍

Saluti a Tutti!
